Recovering a Lost Android Phone with Find Hub

Google's Find Hub (formerly Find My Device) works the same way as Apple's Find My — if you switched it on in advance.

Android's built-in locator is Find Hub. Google renamed it from Find My Device in 2025, so older instructions that mention "Find My Device" are describing the same service.

Check it is enabled

Open Settings and search for Find Hub (or Find My Device on older software). Make sure it is switched on, along with location. Enabling the option to find the phone offline lets other nearby Android devices help locate it.

Locate, lock, or erase

Visit android.com/find from any browser, or open the Find Hub app on another Android device. Sign in with the same Google account, then play a sound, secure the device, or erase it remotely.

If it is stolen

Secure the device first, then report the theft to the police and ask your network to block the SIM and the handset.
